Expanding the design area in Crystal Reports

The design screen width in Crystal Reports is taken from the default windows printer settings.

To make the design screen wider:

1.     Select File, Printer Setup

2.     Select Legal for the Paper Size

3.     Select Landscape for the Orientation"File - Printer Setup". 

Most printers can print up to 13.5 inches.  This is useful if you only need to preview your
report or export it.
