Finding an ID after Peachtree Update is Installed

After a Peachtree update was installed, I no longer have the ability to type in a few letters of an ID and have the cursor take me to the first incident in the drop down box. How can this be fixed?

 The global options were overwritten when the update for Peachtree was installed:

  1. Select Options, Global.
  2. Select the General Tab.
  3. Under the Smart Data Entry, check the box for Drop-down list displays automatically.
  4. Select OK.
